Bragg Stockton

Dr. Bragg Stockton (1938-2003) had almost four decades of experience in coaching and player development. The former head baseball coach at the University of Houston, Stockton also coached at TCU and on the high school and junior college levels. With 1014 career wins, Stockton had a career 70 percent won-loss record. Eight of his former players have played on the major league level, and 80 have played some level of professional baseball. He was a member of the Houston Area Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame and the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame. He was a regular speaker at over 30 state high school clinics. Before starting his coaching career, Stockton played with the Houston Colt .45s (now the Astros).
