Scott Smith

Scott Smith is presently the head football coach at Ezell-Harding Christian School, located in Nashville, Tennessee. Upon taking his position at Ezell- Harding, the Eagles promptly posted their first winning season in over thirteen years. The team finished with a 9-3 record and a top #10 finish in the final state ranking. Since taking over, Smith’s teams have shattered over twelve school records on offense, including most points scored in a season and most passing yards in a single game. Before assuming his present position, Smith served as the head footbal coach at Greenbrier High School where, before leaving, he guided them to back-to-back playoff appearances. He also served as the head coach of a minor league professional football team, the Tennessee Generals, which went undefeated under his tenure. Among his professional activities, Smith has written an article that has been published in Scholastic Coach on the use of the running back in the passing game. He is currently writing a comprehensive book on the high school passing game. Scott Smith was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, where he currently lives with his wife Janice and their two kids, Oakley and Paxton.
