Pete Noble

Pete Noble is the head football coach at Monterey High School in Monterey, California, a position he assumed in 2003. This is his second stint with the Toreadors, having previously coached MHS from 1985-1994. In his first tour at Monterey, he led the Toreadors to a Central Coast Section Division II title in 1993. He has been a head coach four times in a coaching career that has spanned more than three decades. Noble has also served as the head football coach at Gonzales High School in Gonzales, California and at Encinal High School in Alameda, California. Seven times he has been recognized with Coach of the Year honors. He resides in Monterey with his wife, Cathy, and their two children—daughter, Jamie, and son, Garin.
