Mike Sanford

Mike Sanford is the head football coach at the University of Nevada–Las Vegas, a position he assumed in December 2004. Before taking the reins of the Rebels' gridiron program, he served as the offensive coordinator at the University of Utah for two seasons, which went 21-2 during his tenure with the Utes. A 30-year college and NFL coaching veteran, Sanford went to Utah from Stanford, where he served as the OC and quarterbacks coach for a season. His coaching résumé also includes stints at Notre Dame, USC, Purdue, Long Beach State, VMI, and Army, as well as three years with the NFL's San Diego Chargers.
