Mike Ricci
Mike Ricci is the head football coach at Garnet Valley (PA) High School, a position he assumed in1986. Since taking the reins of the Jaguars’ program, Ricci has seen the student enrollment increase almost three-fold (from 482 students to over 1400 students). During his tenure at Garnet Valley, he has developed the gridiron program into one of the strongest in Eastern Pennsylvania. Twice (2006 and 2007), his teams have won the District 1 AAA championship. In 2007, Garnet Valley won the Eastern Pennsylvania AAA championship and finished second in the state. In 1993 and 1999, Garnet Valley qualified for the state championship. A 1984 graduate of Susquehanna University, where he earned three letters as a tight end for the Crusaders, Ricci has been honored numerous times during his coaching career for his accomplishments, including being named 2007 EasternPAFootball.com Big School Coach of the Year and 2006 Philadelphia Inquirer Southeastern PA Coach of the Year.
