Robert Tjong
Robert Tjong is the defensive coordinator at Plantation (FL) High School, a position he assumed in 1992. Since joining the Fighting Colonels’ staff, he has helped build Plantation into one of the strongest gridiron programs in the Southeast. A 1992 graduate of Florida State, Tjong served as the defensive coordinator in both the 1998 Nike All-Star Game (Broward vs. Dale) and the 1999 Shriner’s North vs. South Florida All-Star Game. In 2002, he served as the defensive line coach in the Nike All-Star Game (Broward vs. Dale). Tjong is widely respected for his ability to teach defensive fundamentals.
