Clay Jennings
Clay Jennings was the cornerbacks coach at Baylor University in 2007, after serving the previous two seasons as the safeties coach at the University of Houston. During his tenure on the Cougars’ staff, he helped lead UH to two bowl appearances and the 2006 Conference USA championship. A 1996 graduate of North Texas State University, where he earned four letters as a defensive lineman and special teams standout, Jennings is widely respected as one of the top young defensive coaches in the game. His coaching resume includes stints at Louisiana–Lafayette, Sam Houston State, Southern Arkansas, Morningside College, and Morehouse College.
