Jody Paperno-Garry
Jody Paperno-Garry, Head Women’s Volleyball Coach, California State University—Monterey Bay. Prior Garry was the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the women’s volleyball team at Washington State University, a position she assumed in 2004. A 1996 graduate of the University of North Dakota, where she earned All-North Central Conference honors as a member of the Fighting Sioux volleyball team, she began her coaching career as the top assistant for St. Mary’s College (CA). After three seasons at St. Mary’s she then joined the coaching staff at Golden West Junior College (CA)—one of the premier community college volleyball programs in the nation. Next, Paperno-Garry accepted the head coaching job at Adams State College (CO), where she served for a year before joining the staff at the University of South Dakota. After one season of working with the Coyotes’ program, she then spent a year as an assistant coach on the staff at Idaho State, before accepting her position at Washington State University.
