Andy Bitto

Andy Bitto is the head football coach and special teams coordinator at his alma mater, Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois. A 1985 graduate of Ball State University, where he was a standout special teams player for the Cardinals, Bitto has spent his entire coaching career at Carmel Catholic. From 1985 to 1997, he served as the team’s defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator. In 1998, Bitto became Carmel Catholic’s head coach, but remained as the special teams coordinator. Since assuming the reins of the Corsairs, Bitto has achieved exceptional success. His teams have made the playoffs every year and have reached the semi-finals three times, winning the Illinois State Championship in 2003.
