John Mayer
Dr. John Mayer has been a practicing clinical psychologist since 1979. He received his degree from Northwestern University Medical School. He is a nationally known expert on the problems of youth and families. Dr. Mayer is a prolific author, lecturer, and consultant. He is the founder and director of both the Institute for Adolescent Development and the Center for Youth Research. An athlete all his life, Dr. Mayer has competed in over 20 triathlons and finished his first marathon. Using the techniques in this book, Dr. Mayer has been a successful youth baseball coach.
