Myra Minuskin

Myra Minuskin is the head softball coach at Saint Xavier University, a position she assumed in 2001. Her three-year record with the Cougars is 124-48 overall (.721 winning percentage). Her three-year CCAC record is 42-3 with three conference championships. In 2001, she was CCAC Coach of the Year, and she garnered NAIA Region VII Coach of the Year honors in 2001 and 2002. In each of her season with Saint Xavier, her teams have been ranked in the top 15 nationally in the NAIA. Her 2002 Cougar team led the NAIA in fielding. Minuskin is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, holding both a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Public Administration. She also played on the club team at Illinois, in addition to later coaching it. Minuskin has also coached at Valparaiso University, National Louis University, and Harper College. During her career, Minuskin has coached several NAIA All-Americans and NAIA Academic All-Americans.
