Carl Mauck

Carl Mauck is the offensive line coach for the Detroit Lions, a position he assumed in 2001. One of the most widely respected offensive line coaches in the game, Mauck has had an exceptionally successful career in the NFL—both as a player and as a coach. A graduate of Southern Illinois University, he played for 13 seasons in the NFL for a variety of teams, where he became widely known and respected for his “toughness.” He began his coaching career with the New Orleans Saints in 1982, where he spent four seasons. He has also served on the staffs of the Kansas City Chiefs (1986-’88), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1991), San Diego Chargers (1992-’95), Arizona Cardinals (1996-’97), and Buffalo Bills (1998-2000).
