Aaron James

Aaron James is the pole vault and multi-events coach at the University of Georgia. Since joining the Bulldogs’ track and field staff in 1999, James has helped guide several Bulldogs to record-setting school performances. Prior to Georgia, James spent five years at Clemson as an assistant coach. With the Tigers, James coached two All-Americans, 30 All ACC athletes, 10 ACC Champions, and six NCAA qualifiers. A graduate of Tarleton State University, James has also held coaching positions at Liberty, Wayland Baptist, and Baylor. Currently, he serves as the chair of the development committee for pole vaulting for the USATF.
