Ron Caragher

Ron Caragher is the new head football coach at the University of San Diego. He spent the past four seasons as the running backs coach, two of those also as the head recruiting coordinator, at the University of Kentucky. Prior to that, he served on the staff at UCLA for nine seasons (1994-2002), where he helped lead the Bruins to five bowl games as the wide receivers and kickers coach. While there, Caragher coached five of the top seven career yardage receivers in UCLA history. A graduate of UCLA, where he earned four letters as a quarterback, he began his coaching career in 1994 at his alma mater as a graduate assistant for two years before joining the staff on a full-time basis.
