Buck Roggeman

Buck Roggeman has been coaching high school football on California’s Central Coast for 11 years, the last four as head coach of Pacific Grove High School. His Breakers teams have amassed a record of 35-11, winning a Central Coast Section Championship in 2001, and taking league championships in 2001 and 2003. Roggeman was named the California Coaches Association Rookie Coach of the Year in 2001. Roggeman’s expertise is on the defensive side of the football, where he has been a coordinator for several seasons, using both seven- and eight-man fronts extensively. He has a career coaching record of 98-31, including his years as an assistant coach. Roggeman comes from a coaching family. His father, Tom, Sr., coached college football for more than 25 years at several universities, including Purdue, the University of Arizona, and the University of Southern California. His brother, Tom, Jr., is currently an assistant coach at East Carolina University.
