Linn Goldberg

Linn Goldberg, M.D., FACSM, is a Professor of Medicine, and Head of the Division of Health Promotion and Sports Medicine at the Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Goldberg is the principal investigator of ATLAS, the first scientifically proven effective drug prevention program for male high school athletes, and co-principal investigator of ATHENA, a drug prevention and health promotion program for adolescent female athletes. He has over 160 medical publications, and has been an expert panelist for the United States Department of Education’s Safe, Disciplined and Drug Free Schools, and is a Doping Control Officer for the United States Anti-Doping Agency. Dr. Goldberg conducts and performs research in establishing the scientific validity of programs to reduce drug use among athletes.
