Guy Simmons

Guy Simmons is the head baseball coach at Frank Phillips College (TX), a position he assumed in 2000. Since taking the reins of the Plainsmen’s diamond program, Simmons has turned the FPC baseball fortunes around, including achieving the best record in school history. Prior to FPC, Simmons served as the head baseball coach at Westlake (LA) High School for 12 seasons. During his successful tenure at Westlake, he took his team to the playoffs every season, while compiling an overall mark of 215-109. In 1996, he led Westlake to the Louisiana state title. A graduate of Northwestern State University, Simmons is a highly regarded and much sought-after clinician and speaker.
