Eric Dettman, head track and field and cross-country coach at Lincoln High School (Portland, Oregon), has taken a good Lincoln program and made it an excellent one. During his time at Lincoln, he has coached four state trophy cross-country teams, 21 All-State athletes, one state champion, one All-America, one male to the Footlocker National Championships, and one girls team to the Nike Cross Nationals.
In this presentation, Dettman shares the things he does to meet his athletes where they are at and focuses on how he develops relationships with female athletes.
