Addison Hayes

Addison Hayes M. Ed will be entering his first year as the offensive line coach at Edward Waters University. Hayes comes to Edward Waters after three seasons at Huguenot High School located in Richmond, VA. He took over the program as Head Coach in 2019, guiding the Falcons to a 6-4 record and its first winning season in 13 years. Hayes believes that for student-athletes to be successful on the field, they first have to be successful in the school building. With that mindset, Hayes and his staff encouraged and challenged the players academically. The team GPA rose + .41 in year one and +.22 in year two. Coach Hayes is from Savannah, GA where he was a four-year starter at Windsor Forest High School. He is the oldest of 4 boys to Addison and Tayloranne Hayes. Hayes earned numerous awards throughout his high school career locally and statewide. It doesn’t get much better than being named Offensive Player of the Year as an Offensive Lineman. Coach Hayes went on to earn himself an athletic scholarship from Virginia Union University (VUU), located in Richmond, VA.
