Bernard Clark played middle linebacker for the University of Miami from 1985 to 1989. He was the Orange Bowl MVP and drafted in the third round of the NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
After playing 3 seasons in the NFL and 2 in the Arena League Clark began his coaching career with James Madison, coaching defensive ends from 1998-99 then moved Liberty for 3 seasons coaching special teams and linebackers. After stints at the University of South Florida, University of Pittsburgh and Florida International he took over as head coach of Robert Morris University in 2018, leading the Colonials to 2nd place in the Northeast Conference (6-1 in conference play) in only his second season.
