Lew Johnston and Rich Hargitt
Lew Johnston is the head football coach at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in Suffolk, Virginia, a position he assumed in 2010. Previously, he was the head football coach at Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, Virginia, for 22 years (following an 11-year stint as an assistant coach). His teams have won five Southeastern District championships and one Eastern Regional championship. Johnston was named Southeastern District Coach of the Year six times and was selected by the Virginia High School Coaches Association as the Eastern Region, Division 6, Virginia Coach of the Year in 2002.
Rich Hargitt has been a football coach for the past 13 years. He has served as a head football coach and offensive coordinator at the high school level in Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He contributed to a six-part video series on the spread wing-T offense for
American Football Monthly and has been published numerous times in coaching journals. He is currently the passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
