David Rankin

David Rankin is a retired professor of English who holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. from the University of London. He’s widely published in his field and has won awards for teaching and for scholarship. Rankin was a pitcher at USC from 1951 to 1953, coached the freshman team for two seasons, and assisted Coach Rod Dedeaux for two seasons. He coached the Coalinga Community College team that won the California State Championship in 1958.
