Tom Ecker

Tom Ecker has coached track and field at the high school, university, and international levels. He coached for four years at Western Kentucky University, where he was named conference Coach of the Year all four years, and then served as national coach of Sweden for two years. 
    Ecker has traveled throughout the world, lecturing on various aspects of sport. His humorous and informative talks and clinic sessions on biomechanics have taken him to 38 states and 11 foreign countries. 
    The author or co-author of 16 sports books for coaches, Ecker has also authored more than 100 technical articles in national magazines, including the first-ever published in the United States on the use of anabolic steroids in sports. He is also the author of the historical work: Olympic Facts and Fables, which recounts the best stories from the first 100 years of the modern Olympics.
