George Crace

George Crace is the head football coach at Wilsonville High School in Wilsonville, Oregon. Born near the football heaven of South Bend, Indiana and having earned degrees from both Harvard and Stanford, Crace has studied football concepts from coast to coast. With 30 years of experience at the youth, high school, and college levels, he is well qualified to analyze and synthesize the best elements and current trends in the game. He recently led his team to back-to-back appearances in Oregon’s State Championship 3A game, winning the title in 2004 with a perfect 13-0 undefeated season. In three decades of coaching, he has been honored numerous times and was selected as Oregon’s 3A Coach of the Year for all male sports in 2004. Crace has built two successful football programs from the ground up, using a comprehensive system that is intelligent, innovative, and adaptable to the strengths of his players.
