Doug Saylor
Doug Saylor is a former all-state and Honorable Mention All-American high school basketball player from Ambridge, Pennsylvania, and former Louisiana State University point guard. He has a Master of Education (concentration in exercise physiology) and nine years teaching experience in the St. Tammany Parish public school system in southeastern Louisiana. He has been an NSCA-certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) since 1999. Since 2002, he has worked as a player-development coach for professional, college, high school, and junior high athletes through his HoopLife Academy based in Mandeville, Louisiana, where he lives with his wife, Liz, a veterinarian.
