Steve Specht
Steve Specht is the head football coach at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, a position he assumed in 2004, after spending the previous ten seasons on the Bombers’ staff as an assistant. A 1989 graduate of Earlham College (IN), where he lettered in both football and baseball all four years while serving as team captain for both sports his senior year. Specht began his coaching career in 1989 as an assistant at Roger Bacon H.S. (OH), before moving to West Chester Lakota H.S. (OH) as the linebacker and special teams coordinator in 1990. After 3 years on the Firebirds’ staff, he then returned to coach football at St. Xavier, his high school alma mater.
