Ken Herring

Ken Herring is the former head football coach at Kingwood High School in Houston, Texas. Prior to holding that position, Herring served as an assistant coach on the staff of perennial Texas football powerhouse Odessa Permian High School. During his tenure at Permian, Herring was an integral member of a coaching staff that created the renowned Texas tradition known as “Molo Madness.” While he was at Permian, the Panthers won three Texas state gridiron championships and were voted USA Today’s national champions in 1988.
