Patrick McHenry

Patrick McHenry, MA, CSCS*D, is a nationally known speaker who has been published in books, journals, and videos. He holds a master's degree in physical education, with an emphasis in kinesiology, from the University of Northern Colorado. He was selected High School Strength Coach of the Year in 2005 by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the Regional Strength Coach of the Year by American Football Monthly in 2003. He has been teaching/coaching for 19 years and has worked with elementary school-age children, adolescents, collegians, and elitelevel athletes. McHenry specializes in power development, speed, and agility. He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction (CSCS*D) and Coach Practitioner with the NSCA, as well as a Club Coach with USA Weightlifting. Joel Raether, MAEd., CSCS, has served with the University of Denver strength and conditioning department for six years. He is also the head strength and conditioning coach for the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League. He has worked with several All-American athletes, a number of conference championship teams, and more than five national championship teams. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in Exercise Science Physiology. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and serves as the chairman for the NSCA's Basketball Special Interest Group. In 2004, he co-authored 101 Agility Drills. Additionally, he was a contributing author to Fit Kids for Life and has published numerous research and journal articles as well as presented sports-related topics at state and regional conferences.
