Amy Geithner

Amy Geithner is a teaching professional in Rochester, New York. Amy has taught golf to individuals and groups, ages four to 92 for over two decades. Two of her goals in teaching golfers are to develop sound fundamentals and focus on the short game for maximum enjoyment. As a member of the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Division’s Northeast Section, Amy served as section president, clinician for Mazda Golf Clinics for Executive Women, steering committee member of the Rochester International Junior Tour Clinic. Amy was MVP and NCAIAW State Champion at Wake Forest University, where she graduated with a teaching certificate in physical education. As an amateur, she won the Virginia’s 54-Hole Stroke Play, set the course record for women at Congressional CC in Potomac, MD, and competed in the US Women’s Open and the US Women’s Amateur. After turning professional, Amy competed in the Mizuno Women’s Mini- Tour in Japan, the Futures Tour, and several events on the LPGA Tour.
