Caid Faske will enter his third year in Nacogdoches in 2021 as SFA’s defensive ends coach with recruiting responsibilities in the DFW Metroplex area.
Considered one of the youngest elite coaches in collegiate football, the American Football Coaches Association tabbed Faske as a Top 35 coach under 35 years of age in December 2019. A prestigious honor given to promising up and coming coaches.
In his two seasons working with the Lumberjack Defensive Ends, the group has made tremendous strides and has developed into a major strength of the Lumberjack Defense. Overall in his first two seasons with the Lumberjacks, the defensive ends have totaled over 22.5 Sacks and 40 Tackles for Loss.
Before coming to SFA, Faske was at Texas A&M-Commerce. Faske was the defensive line coach for the Lions from 2015-18.
