Dave Jacobs
Dave Jacobs is the head football coach at Champaign Central High School (Illinois). Seven of his former players and assistant coaches are now head high school football coaches, and several other former players have had successful collegiate-level playing careers. Jacobs is known as a program builder in the state of Illinois, as he has rebuilt three programs (New Berlin, Illiopolis, Champaign Central) and built one from scratch (Rochester) in his short career. Jacobs is a former president, current trustee, and hall of fame selection committee member of the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association. He serves on the Illinois Coaches Association Shrine Game selection committee and is also a nationally recognized speaker with Frank Glazier/Mega football coaches clinics.
