Dean Campbell

Dean Campbell is the head football coach at Hyde Park Baptist High School (TX). Campbell is the former director of high school relations for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks football program, a position he assumed in 2008. Before joining UA, he served as the running backs coach at the United States Air Force Academy from 2000- 2006. During his tenure on the Falcons staff, Campbell helped develop several outstanding Falcon running backs. Prior to his arrival at the Academy, Campbell spent eight seasons on the staff at Texas Tech. A 1972 graduate of Texas, where he played on two national championship teams, Campbell began his coaching career as an assistant at Texas A&M in 1973. He then coached at New Mexico for a season, before returning to Texas A&M for a second stint (1979-1981). He has also held coaching positions at his alma mater (Texas), North Carolina, and Rice. Campbell has 18 years of post-season bowl experience—15 as a coach and three as a player.
