Dr. Ben Gleason

Dr. Gleason is an Assistant Professor in Kinesiology with advanced training in sport performance enhancement. He played collegiate football at the University of Memphis (1996-1997), and club rugby in Australia before serving as an administrative officer in US Air Force from 2002-2006.

Following his master’s work at Old Dominion University, he worked in multiple human performance roles, with stops at Hampton University (2008-2009) and Eglin Air Force Base (2009-2012). In 2012 he enrolled in the East Tennessee State University doctoral program in Sport Physiology and Performance, and worked with ROTC, ETSU collegiate sports, and the Science Hill High School football program. During his last year at ETSU he served as the head strength and conditioning coach for Olympic sports.
