Kerry Thompson is entering his first season as the Director of Strength and Conditioning with the Yellow Jacket athletic staff. His primary responsibilities will be to oversee the strength & conditioning program for all 9 varsity sports at Allen University. Thompson will be the first strength and conditioning coach in the history of Allen University.
Thompson joins the Yellow Jacket athletic after working with the strength and conditioning program at the University of Alabama, where he worked primarily with football for the spring. Thompson was an assistant strength coach with the University of Alabama at Birmingham from August 2014-December 2014 until the cancellation of the program. He made his return to UAB in June 2016 until December 2017. There he worked with football and was a part of a staff that revived a canceled football program to an 8-4 season and the second bowl berth in school history.
