Kory Gribbin

Kory Gribbin joined the Duquesne coaching staff in the summer of 2019, working with the defensive backs as well as recruiting coordinator and assistant special teams coordinator.

In his first season on The Bluff, Gribbin’s defensive backs helped the Dukes lead the Northeast Conference (NEC) and rank seventh in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) in pass defense, holding the opposition to 168.8 yards through the air per game. Duquesne closed out the year 10th in the country in total defense, limiting opposing teams to 298.4 yards per game.

Defensive back Reid Harrison-Ducros garnered First Team All-NEC honors for the Dukes, ranking second in the NEC with four interceptions on the season.

Gribbin came to Duquesne after spending the last four seasons on staff at Akron, most recently serving as the Zips’ tight ends/H-backs coach while assisting with special teams in 2018.
