Scott Curd is an offensive analyst/quality control coach with the University of Alabama- Birmingham (UAB) working with the offensive line. Prior to joining the UAB staff in 2019, he coached in the high school ranks for 25 years in Alabama. He concluded his high school career as head coach at his alma mater, Carbon Hill High School in Carbon Hill, Alabama. Before taking the helm Carbon Hill in 2016, the Bulldogs had won only in 10 games total since 2007 and had not won more than two games since that 2006. Coach Curd subsequently led the Bulldogs to nine wins in his three-year tenure, including a 5-5 2018 campaign that equaled the most wins for the program since 2006.
