    A well written recollection of the life of a coach and his family. It captures the experiences of Larry Kennan who was as an assistant, coordinator, and head coach in college and an assistant and coordinator in the NFL. He was a head a head coach in the World Football League as well as being the head of the NFL coaches’ association. Stephen adds a human side by sharing the effects of a coach’s life on their family. We highly recommend this book.

    . An interesting and informative recollection of a college and NFL football coach and the initial head of the NFL Coach’s Association. It gives insight into being an assistant coach, a coordinator, and a head coach. Stephen adds a human perspective as he explains how the job affects the families of the coach. In this book you will see why Larry is so well respected. His is a lift well lived.
    We highly recommend this book.

    A very informative and well written book about life as a college and NFL football coach and the first head of the NFL coaches association. It gives insight into what goes on behind the scenes with players, coaches, and team personnel. Larry and his son, Stephen, give a very unique human perspective into how a coach’ job affects the entire family, Larry gives credit to many people he worked with which is why he Is so respected by them.     This is such a great book you won’t be able to put down. The words and insights from Coach Kennan are beautifully written and a must read for not only any football fan, but anyone who enjoys leadership, life lessons, and great storytelling. Coach Kennan is a true inspiration!
