Mike Emendorfer

Mike Emendorfer is the head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. In 2004, he earned the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Award, a season in which the Pioneers achieved their first winning record since 1992. Emendorfer’s UW-Platteville clubs have ranked among the national passing leaders in each of his six seasons with the Pioneers, including an NCAA Division III-best 358.8 yards per game in 2001. Emendorfer has guided the Pioneers to the most explosive offensive era in the 106-year history of the UWP football program. The Pioneers have rewritten the record books, establishing 25 school records and breaking 10 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference marks. Emendorfer came to UW-Platteville from Hanover (Ind.) College, where he had been the offensive coordinator for eight years. During that time, Hanover won three conference titles, produced two NCAA III playoff berths and led the nation in passing four times.
