Kris Clark

Kris Clark, Ph.D., R.D., FACSM, is the director of sports nutrition at the Center for Sports Medicine at Penn State University. In that role, she counsels over 1,000 varsity athletes from 29 PSU intercollegiate teams and advises/interacts with coaches, trainers, team physicians, and athletic-department personnel. Internationally renowned for her work as a sports nutritionist, Dr. Clark has published extensively, is a frequent lecturer at professional meetings, and is very active in both the American Dietetic Association and the American College of Sports Medicine. In addition, she acts as the nutrition spokesperson for the U.S. Soccer Federation and served as the nutrition advisor to the 1996 U.S. Olympic women’s soccer and women’s field hockey teams.
