Scott Spanton

Scott Spanton has been coaching high school football in the state of Texas for the past 25 years, and 30 overall. During this time he has coached primarily on the offensive side of the football. He has served as a receiver and or quarterback coach during this time period along with being an offensive coordinator for the past 12 years at four different schools. He takes pride in being a student of the game and staying up to date with the evolution of the game over these years. Much of his time is spent breaking down and editing video taken from major college games and producing his own library to use for teaching techniques and schemes. Annually attending football clinics is another way he spends his off-season time to stay current on new techniques or schemes to apply to his own coaching philosophy.
He has been married to his wife, Beth, for 23 years and credits her with being the head of the household over the years. He has been blessed with two sons, Tyler and Troy, who both competed in football in high school and one who is currently playing at the collegiate level. He has two daughters, Jessica and Allison, who are active in soccer and cheerleading respectively. He enjoys spending his free time with his children and playing golf, along with being a freelance artist.
