Andy Collins

Andy Collins is a longtime coach and student of hitting who has been helping coaches, athletes, and parents achieve their hitting goals in baseball and softball for more than three decades. The famed Internet Hitting Coach (www.TheInternetHittingCoach.com), he coauthored the audiotape “Crushing the Ball Every Time” with Phil Bruder—11-time ASA national champion coach. Recently, he published a blog on MLB.com titled, “How to Hit Like a Major Leaguer.” He has also served as a clinician for the Brazilian national softball team. In addition, he was one of six coaches chosen to be part of the coaching staff at the 2001 World Student-Athletes Games in Providence, RI, which involved athletes from 151 countries. Currently, Collins resides in Ventura, California, where he is a much sought-after instructor, giving private lessons in both softball and baseball.
