James Vint
James Vint has been both an offensive and defensive coordinator at the high school and collegiate levels, and is currently the offensive coordinator at Seminole High School in Seminole, Texas. Coach Vint came to Seminole after spending four years at Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas. Previously, Vint was an assistant coach at Truman State University and the offensive coordinator at Iowa Wesleyan College. Prior to his stint at Iowa Wesleyan, Vint served on the coaching staff at Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx, New York, where he helped turn around a gridiron program that had a 20-game losing streak. In his second season at Columbus, the Blue Steel qualified for the playoffs for the first time in school history, a feat that they achieved four times over a six-year period. During his five seasons on the Columbus staff (2000-2004), the Blue Steel offense averaged 256 yards per game on the ground. Vint is a widely sought-after speaker at clinics throughout the country, and has been featured on a number of well-received instructional DVDs.
