Will Freeman
Will Freeman is the head cross country and track coach at Grinnell College (IA). During his 23-year tenure on the Pioneers’ staff, his teams have won 20 conference titles in track and cross country. A former All-American pole vaulter for the University of Florida and a finalist at the U.S. Olympic Trials, he is a popular speaker at clinics around the nation and internationally. A 1976 graduate of the University of Florida, he is the former chairman of Coaches Education for USATF. One of the most respected cross country and track and field coaches in the nation, Freeman teaches sports psychology and wellness at Grinnell, in addition to his coaching duties.
