Allen Hedrick

Allen Hedrick, MA, CSCS*D, is the former head strength and conditioning coach at the United States Air Force Academy, a position he held from 1998 to 2007. Among the areas for which he was responsible were program design and supervision of all aspects of the strength, plyometric, and speed training for football, hockey, and volleyball. Prior to assuming that position, he served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at USAF for almost three years. Before that, he was the strength and conditioning coordinator at the U.S. Olympic Training Center for three years. A graduate of California State University–Fresno, Hedrick is a prolific author, a much sought-after clinician, and a featured speaker on a number of well-received instructional DVDs. In 2003, he was named the NSCA’s College Strength and Conditioning Professional of the Year.
